Est. 1978
Wolf Hill Garden Center is proudly a family-owned and operated business.
In 1978, Jim and John McKechnie, two entrepreneurial brothers, embarked on a journey in the world of landscaping. Identifying a need within the Cape Ann community, they expanded their horizons by establishing a garden center in Gloucester, MA, nurtured by the support of their family and friends. This venture blossomed further with a second location in Ipswich, MA, in 1998. As the years passed, the mantle of responsibility shifted to their children, ensuring the family's legacy in the business. While the landscaping division has gracefully concluded, the thriving Garden Centers in both Gloucester and Ipswich continue under the devoted care of the next generation and a team of loyal, dedicated employees.
