At Wolf Hill, we believe in celebrating the beauty of the seasons and connecting with our community. This year we tried a Fall Family Fun Day to bring families together for a day of laughter, creativity, and togetherness. Let's take a moment to relive the joy and heartwarming memories we created during this delightful event. We’re hoping to make this an annual event!
A Day Filled with Wholesome Fun
On October 14th (Ipswich) and October 15th (Gloucester), families from near and far gathered at our garden center, eagerly embracing the spirit of fall. The atmosphere was electric with excitement as children and adults alike prepared to engage in a day of creativity and outdoor enjoyment.
Scarecrow Building
One of the highlights of the day was our scarecrow-building activity. Families had the opportunity to craft their whimsical garden guardians from scratch. With straw, old clothes, and a dash of imagination, these scarecrows came to life, each one as unique as the hands that lovingly put them together.
Pumpkin Painting
Our Fall Family Fun Day also featured pumpkin painting, a favorite tradition that allows everyone to channel their inner artist. The pumpkins served as blank canvases for vibrant colors, spooky faces, and cheerful designs. Each painted pumpkin became a small work of art to take home and cherish.
Laughter and Bonding
What made this day truly special was the shared experience of families coming together. Laughter echoed through the garden center as children played, parents admired the creations, and everyone enjoyed the simple pleasure of being outdoors on a beautiful fall day.
Supporting a Great Cause
In addition to the joy we shared, we also had the privilege of supporting a wonderful cause. Cape Ann Animal Aid joined us at our Gloucester location on Sunday, October 15th, from 11am to 1pm during our Fall Family Fun Day event. They brought adorable puppies that were available for adoption. We were thrilled to see our community come together to support this cause, and part of the proceeds from the event were donated to our friends at Cape Ann Animal Aid.
